West Valley Connector (BRT) project

The San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) is conducting environmental studies in preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) / Environmental Assessment (EA) for the West Valley Connector Project, a two phase 35-mile-long bus rapid transit (BRT) project that proposes limited stops, while providing speed and quality improvements to the public transit system within the corridor.

The proposed BRT project would be operated by Omnitrans. In continued efforts to inform, involve, and collaborate with the general public during the planning process, SBCTA will have staff available during a series of open house meetings to present updates on the progress of the environmental studies and to provide an opportunity for members of the public to offer valuable feedback on the project’s proposed design elements, potential impacts to the community and, in particular, to environmental justice communities, as stipulated by Executive Order 12898.
