The 2026 SBCTA Business 2 Business Expo brought together nearly 300 transportation professionals at the Ontario Convention Center on August 27. Public agencies, private firms, and industry partners gathered to share ideas, build new connections, and highlight the importance of collaboration in delivering major transportation projects across the region.
SBCTA President Joe Baca, Jr. welcomed attendees and set the tone for the day. His opening remarks emphasized the value of strong relationships between agencies and businesses working toward shared transportation goals. Following the welcome, SBCTA’s annual State of Transportation presentation offered insight into ongoing efforts to improve mobility throughout San Bernardino County.
This year’s State of Transportation panel was led by Otis Greer, SBCTA Deputy Executive Director, who moderated a discussion focused on the power of partnership in successful project delivery. The panel included private‑sector representatives along with special guest, Carrie Schindler, SBCTA Executive Director. Together, they highlighted how collaboration, communication, and innovation between public and private partners help advance key projects that benefit the entire region.
After the panel, the event transitioned into a bustling Expo featuring more than 60 booths from industry leaders, vendors, consultants, and public agencies. Attendees had the opportunity to explore new technologies, learn about emerging services, and build the professional connections needed to launch future collaborations. The Expo continues to be an important resource for strengthening transportation networks and supporting the partnerships that drive progress.
