The San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) Board of Directors awarded Construction Contract to Beador Construction Company, Inc. for the Interstate 10 (I-10) Mount Vernon Avenue Improvement Project for a not-to-exceed amount of $60.3 million. This project is funded by Measure I Valley Interchange Program funds and City of Colton Development Impact Fees, advancing a critical interchange improvement along one of the region’s most heavily traveled corridors.
The project followed a competitive procurement process that generated strong industry interest, with bids received from three qualified firms. Beador Construction Company, Inc. was determined to be the lowest responsive, responsible, and compliant bidder. With Board approval in place, SBCTA will move forward with construction, continuing its commitment to improving safety, mobility, and system performance along the Interstate 10 corridor.
