State Route 18 (SR-18) is a key east-west corridor connecting the Antelope Valley and Victor Valley, supporting regional travel, freight movement, and rural communities. The SR-18 Corridor Freight and Safety Project will improve safety and corridor operations through targeted improvements without adding new through lanes. Implementation is anticipated in two construction phases:
- Phase 1: US 395 to Smith Street
- Phase 2: Smith Street to the Los Angeles County line
Get Involved
The project is currently in the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA&ED) phase. Community feedback during this phase helps the project team understand local needs, identify concerns early, and refine project improvements before moving into final design.
