SBCTA, in coordination with Caltrans, is developing the 360° for 960 Implementation Plan, a countywide study to identify Complete Streets improvements along the State Highway System (SHS) throughout San Bernardino County. The study will evaluate transportation needs and barriers and develop recommendations to improve safety, accessibility, and connectivity for people walking, biking, taking transit, and driving. Community feedback will be combined with technical analysis to help identify priorities and guide future Complete Streets project opportunities. Complete Streets are roadways designed to allow motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders, and people of all ages and abilities to move safely along and across them. Complete Streets do not mean adding every type of transportation to every roadway. Instead, the goal is to make sure each road appropriately serves the people and uses it is designed for.
